⬛️ [ The Purpose of Life ] Jonah 3:1–3
——
⬜️ The fish spit Jonah out onto dry land. Jonah was alive again. But here is the important part: the shore was not Nineveh. God rescued Jonah, but He did not place him at the destination. Jonah still had a long road ahead. He had to get up, start walking, and keep walking in the direction God had called him to go.

🟨 Sometimes we think that when God gives us grace, everything should become easy. But Jonah shows us something different. Grace brought Jonah back to the shore, but obedience had to carry him toward Nineveh. God gave Jonah a second chance: “Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time.” Jonah had failed. Jonah had run away. But God spoke again: “Get up. Go to Nineveh.” And this time, Jonah went.

🟧 Our life with God is often like that. God rescues us, but there is still a road to walk. God restores us, but we still have to get up and follow Him again. So maybe the purpose of life is not simply reaching a destination. It is waking up each day and asking, “Lord, which direction are You calling me to walk today?”

🟥 Your purpose is not found in the place of rescue, but in the direction of obedience.
