⬛️ [ LENT W2-D9: Wilderness: Hunger ]

⬜️ Let hunger reveal what you have been leaning on.

🟨 In the wilderness, your usual supports feel weak.

That is what hunger does.

It exposes what you run to for comfort, control, or escape.

God does not use hunger to shame you.

He uses it to re-train your dependence.

——

🟧 So first, name your “quick comfort” today: scrolling, approval, control, or distraction.

Then, pause it for a set time.

And finally, turn to God with one steady sentence:

"Lord, teach me to depend on You here."

——

🟥 Even now, the Lord speaks

"I am close to you in the wilderness.

Do not run to quick comfort.

Stay with Me, and I will strengthen you."

——

✝️ "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted."

(Psalm 34:18)

🙌🔥 "Today I will not escape my hunger.

I will face it with God.

He is forming my dependence,

and He will sustain me."
