⬛️ [Faith That Works: (5) Friendship with God]
⬜️ You can’t be a friend of the world
and a friend of God at the same time.
But even when we chose the world,
He never stopped choosing us.

🟨 The world offers pride, noise, and self,
but God keeps offering grace.
“Draw near to Me,” He says,
“and I will draw near to you.”

——
🟧 We have failed to stay faithful.
We’ve loved the world more than the Word,
but where sin increased,
grace overflowed.
He loved us first,
even when our hearts were far.

——
🟥 The Lord says:
“My child, come back to Me.
I have not come to condemn you,
but to cover you.
Wash your hands, purify your heart,
and find that My grace is greater than your shame.”

——
✝️ “But He gives us more grace.
That is why Scripture says:
‘God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.’
Submit yourselves, then, to God.
Come near to God and He will come near to you.” 
(James 4:6–8)
✝️“But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.” (Romans 5:20)
✝️“We love because He first loved us.” 
(1 John 4:19)
