📖 Matthew 27:46 (NIV)
"About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice,
‘Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?’ (which means ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’)"

🔍 Meditation

1. This was the only time Jesus didn’t say “Father”—He said “My God.” That shows how deeply alone He felt.

2. He was carrying all the sin of the world. That sin caused a deep separation between Him and God.

3. It wasn’t just physical pain—it was the pain of being cut off from the Father.

4. Because Jesus was forsaken, we are never alone. He understands our darkest moments.

Help me trust You, even when life feels silent.
